Partnership between IDA and UDS

Tamale, 20 August – IDA and UDS (University for Development Studies), Ghana have signed an MOU to develop common projects.

The aim of this M.O.U. is, among others:

  • Collaboration in the training/research work of post-graduate students (PhD) of either party,
  • Holding of relevant courses at the UDS by Professors in the near future.
  • Development of new relevant programmes at the UDS in the near future.
  • Co-operation for mutual advice or advice to third parties and offering specialized training for such third parties.
  • Exchange of teaching and research personnel within the sphere of teaching and research.
  • To explore ways to advance research and learning innovations between UDS and IDA as mandated or charged by their respective Statutes of Establishment.

The scope of the co-operation shall be limited to availability of funds for each Party, as well as the priority that their respective programmes may require.

IDA and the University, agreed to implement a set of programs with the aim of improving the economic, cultural and social situation of youth and African women. Cooperation will be in any area involving the development of Africa, the good of the Planet and the core values of the NourDign philosophy in the world, such as education for all children, climate change, food insecurity, migration, racism, gender discrimination, child labor, child trafficking, etc. NourDign (NOURishment and DIGNity) is Food for the world and Dignity for all.
