IDA – Initiative for the Development of Africa
IDA (Initiative for the Development of Africa) is an NGO that promote, through business and cultural activities, the principles of a better world and contributes, through international cooperation, to the development of the African Continent.
IDA links up its members, offers them quality services and provides a network for the BUSINESS MEN of AFRICA and THE REST of the WORLD to work together. IDA International, speaks on behalf of ADA (African Diplomatic Academy) and of higher RELATIONS in general, and represents their concerns and interests in public debate and to outside partners.
By encouraging members to work together, IDA facilitates the exchange of experience and learning; restates and defends the values that determine the proper functioning of projects development in Africa.
IDA is part of the NGO Transparency Register of European Union.
IDA is an organization with Special Consultative Status to the UNITED NATIONS Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
