Abidjan, 15 December 2024 – Prof N’ZI Kouassi Eugène ANOPACI President and Mr. Yves Ablé both IDA members, have attended the PAFO Board Meeting in Abidjan. The fourth meeting of the Board was an extraordinary session held in Abidjan in December 2024. Its purpose was to review key strategic documents and adopt new policies to further strengthen PAFO as a leading continental platform for farmers’ organizations. The discussions focused on the revision of PAFO’s Constitution and Rules of Procedure, as well as the updating of its strategic plan, in particular the resource mobilization strategy. In addition, new policies were reviewed, addressing crucial areas such as anti-money laundering gender and knowledge management. These initiatives aim to strengthen governance, improve financial capacity and prepare PAFO to effectively meet the future challenges of agriculture across Africa.
