The Central African Republic continues to face a serious humanitarian crisis, with a constant increase in human rights and international humanitarian law violations, despite the signing of the Political Agreement for Peace and Reconciliation in 2019. It’s the civilians who suffer most of all. The humanitarian situation has recently deteriorated following election related violence that broke out in mid-December 2020.
