
Rome, 8 October – Numerous representatives of companies, organisations and institutions attended the Italy-Ivory Coast Business Forum in Rome this morning, organised by Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo and the Embassy of Ivory Coast in Italy. It was a concrete opportunity to discuss commercial and investment opportunities, with insights into public-private partnerships and tools to support Italian companies, presented by representatives of the Comité National de Pilotage des Partenariats Public-Privé (CNP-PPP Côte d’Ivoire), the Centre pour la promotion des investissements en Côte d’Ivoire (CEPICI Officiel) and the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Côte d’Ivoire Officiel. Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo was represented by Vice-President Martina Opizzi, who opened the proceedings together with the Ambassador of Côte d’Ivoire to Italy, Nogozene Bakayoko, Fabio Massimo Ballerini of the Piano Mattei Task Force at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and Giuseppe MORABITO, Ambassador and Director of the Centre for Relations with Africa (CRA).
