Presentation of the IDA Summit 2026 at the Italian Embassy in Dakar
Dakar, 8 January 2026 – A delegation from the IDA composed of His Excellency Ambassador Mbacké Diop, High Commissioner of the IDA African Office, the Honorable Moussa DIAKHATE IDA Commissioner for Senegal, Dr Djiby, IDA Commissioner for Senegal, Ms Oumy Ndour IDA Commissioner for Senegal, and Mr. Oumar Dia, Logistics Manager, met with Mr. Lidovico Banova, Vice-Consul of Italy in Senegal in charge of economic affairs, to discuss the organization of the Italy/Africa B&B meeting scheduled for 14-16 April 2026 in Turin.
Both parties are committed to working together to ensure the success of this major event. A schedule of exchanges and meetings is recommended to give substance to this partnership.
