Virtual, 5-6 May – IDA Virtual attendance. The 7th Annual Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the SDGs (STI Forum) has been held on 5-6 May 2022 under the theme “Science, technology and innovation for building back better from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) while advancing the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. The STI Forum was an opportunity for governments and multiple stakeholders to exchange new ideas, recommendations and priorities for the upcoming work of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and the UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) with a focus on the role and contributions of science, technology and innovation.
