62nd session of the Commission for Social Development

New York, 7 February – IDA virtual participation. The 62nd session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD62) take place from 5 to 14 February 2023  at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Commission is the advisory body responsible for the social development pillar of global development. The UN Commission for Social Development has elected India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ruchira Kamboj as its chair for the 62nd session.
This year the Priority Theme is: “Fostering social development and social justice through social policies to accelerate progress on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and to achieve the overarching goal of poverty eradication”. NourDign philosophy.
